HIIT BootCamp

Monday at 5:30-6:15 pm

A 45 minute class that is designed to push you and excite you about working out and staying healthy. Each class is set up in 3 rotations of five- 30 second intervals. They will be fast and fierce.

Get ready to sweat in this HIGH CARDIO, get after it, workout!

Nikki gears her teachings to make a large class feel like it is personalized just for you.  She will motivate you and push you to a level that you can’t reach on your own.
All physical levels are welcome to join this class, however we will be moving around the mats and at a fast pace. If you need modifications, Nikki will be sure to help you!

Fitness Kickboxing

Let off some steam!  If you love the idea of putting on some gloves and throwing a few punches and kicks while getting a great workout then this is the class for you.  

Each class will push you through cardio bursts; as well as, toning all muscles groups through a variety of exercises using our wavemaster bags.

Any level can join this class. Details and techniques will be given as we build into a combo throughout the class.

Gloves can be provide to use, or we have amazing ones to purchase!

Trim and Tone

Tuesday 6:30-7:15 pm

Trim and Tone is a class specifically designed for women who would like to incorporate toning into their workout routine. This is a great class to start if you feel intimidated to join a group setting.

This class is specialized in low-impact workouts while engaging the muscles through a pilates influence.

      If you’re interested in working out but shy away from jumping and heavy cardio burst this is the class for you. We use short intervals with 30 second bursts to help achieve a full body workout. We work on separating the muscle groups into small circuits for the arms, abs, and legs. This allows us to target each area for a specific length of time.
This class will be specifically in our own squares.

Butts and Gutts

Thursday 5:30-6:15 pm

Butts and Gutts is a perfect blend of toning and cardio.  

These 1 minute intervals are tailored to boost your muscle tone through multiple fun exercises of strength building and cardio.

We will tone up your butt and strengthening your tummy.

Slow Burn & Balance

Wednesday 6:30-7:15 pm

6 week relaxing and

rebalancing yoga series seminars will be offered at various times throughout the year.

Nikki will teach her students about Yoga and how to use breath and movements to rebalance out the body from stress.

Each class will be taught to prepare students to get to a goal core posture for that class.
Any fitness level is welcome.  All students should be prepared that this class is slow and relaxing with minimal posture stays.
Please come in relaxing attire.  You do not need to bring a mat, unless you purifier to.  We will be on our soft cushion martial arts mats.

Nikki Engels

Women’s Fitness: Nikki is co-owner of Leadership Academy and currently holds a 1st Dan Black Black in Tae Kwon Do, a Blue Belt in Royce Gracie Jiu Jitsu, and is a 250 hr Certified Yoga Instructor.  

She also is the founder of the Women’s Fitness Programs at Leadership Academy. She helps motivate and teach women how to have fun with their workouts while making sure that correct technique is used while performing the exercise.

Nikki holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management as well as degrees in Human Resources and Psychology from the University of Minnesota, Duluth.  Her love for fitness started when she battled weight gain throughout high school and educated herself through various programs throughout college.  It wasn’t until she joined Leadership Academy that her knowledge and skills in weight loss would be put to use.  She has motivated and taught multiple women how to lose weight through their workouts and how to stick to a lifestyle change.  

She teaches a women’s fitness classes called HIIT BootCamp, Butts and Gutts, Trim and Tone, and a Kickboxing class to help women become excited about their workouts.  She also teaches 6 week yoga seminars to help people understand the importance of slowing down and finding their breath again.

You also see Nikki working on the mats and around the school to keep things running smoothly throughout all the programs offered at Leadership Academy.  She is dedicated to not only teaching women to reach their goals but also helping young kids see their potential in becoming a good citizen.
